Our Integrated Unit on 'Space'

The end of term is near and now that our narratives have been written, it is time to take down all of our artwork. During the term we did some amazing work and Mrs Hitzke was very proud. She can't wait to read our narratives.

Tommy's favourite movie was 'Avatar' in 3D!

Thank you Mr Cole!

Gordon Cole helped us celebrate 'Harmony Day' by cooking us a BBQ. We really look forward to Mr Cole visiting each term.

Our Combined Narrative!

The Four Naughty Children
Along time ago, their lived a king and a queen. They lived in a big, pink castle and it was always busy and noisy. The queen was always sad because her four children never gave her any peace. They were always shouting at one another and making a mess. So one day she decided that she would go on a relaxing holiday to another kingdom called Paris. Paris was peaceful and beautiful so she could have sleep ins. Finally after a very long time she started to miss her four noisy and naughty children. She really did love them. So she went home! And they lived happily ever after in their peaceful, pink castle. The children promised to be good from now on.

Writing Narratives in Year 2

Mean Old Sally!

One day my mum and I went to school. When I got to school I saw Sally. Sally liked sneaking up on people. I turned around but I could not see her. Then I was really angry! Suddenly I spotted her sneaking up on someone. I told the teacher on duty. She came over and scowled at Sally. I was so happy when Sally got in trouble that I jumped and said "Hip, hip hooray". Now I know not to be friends with Sally.

Our New Lenten Candle!

Thank you Sam for bringing a beautiful purple candle for our prayer table. We will light it each day during the season of Lent. It will help us to remember our Lenten Promises.
