On Wednesday we visited Coles. We saw how the meat is cut up and packaged. We all had a go at mincing the big chunks of meat. We also went to the bakery where we saw the dough being mixed, kneaded and cut for bread rolls. We had a smell of the yeast which makes the bread rise. We also watched the machine make donuts. We got to go in the freezers which were very cold!!

The Cooks!
The teachers had to do the cooking. It was a bit of a new experience cooking for so many dads, but they got there in the end and everyone got their breakfast.
Father's Day Breakfast
Many of our Dads enjoyed breakfast with their children at SPC on Friday morning to celebrate Father's Day. It was great to see so many Dads at our school. We hope they had a Happy Father's Day.Wednesday, September 1, 2010
Poppy's New Pet
Poppy got her new guinea pig yesterday. She is caramel and white, and she has curly hair. She is very cute!
